What I Wore- Camo

November 16, 2018 by Sharon

I have joined a Bible Study here that is very similar to one I took my kids to when they were little. It has been a huge blessing in my life. There is nothing quite like studying scripture one passage at a time to bring clarity to one’s life!! I’m loving it!!

I wasn’t sure about wearing camo to bible study, but it is very casual so I went for it!! Here is what I wore.

Camouflage seems to be everywhere right now. I even have a pair of camo yoga pants that I work out int. Not knowing if I would wear them very much, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a pair of camo jeans. I found a pair on Amazon (here). They are very comfortable and I like the color.

I have so much black in my closet! (I think it is my inner New Yorker) I wanted to branch out a bit and find some tops to add a bit of color for fall and winter. I found this top at Francesa’s. They were having a great sale the day I was there so it made this purchase even better.

I’m so glad I got these pants! I’ve worn them a couple of other times and have gotten several compliments on them!!

Things Piquing My Interest on this Peak of the Week!

It’s Inauguration Day. I’ve seen where many people say they will not watch the Inauguration today. I just don’t understand. I guess we all have different backgrounds by which we view the world, but my parents both stressed history so much in our home. I think we watch every event that was televised when I […]

Book Review- 2 Memoirs Not To Miss

I recently finished two memoirs that are not to be missed. Although the authors are worlds apart, they both inspired me to keep going through difficult circumstances. Two Memoirs Not To Be Missed The first memoir is Kathie Lee Gifford’s, It’s Never Too Late. Gifford tells stories from her long and wide-ranging career. From stories […]

Things Piquing My Interest on this Peak of the Week!

Here is a list of things piquing my interest on this Peak of the Week! It’s not Hump Day, it’s Wednesday! Many of you had a beautiful snowfall earlier this week. The mountains of New Mexico was missed. It is really dry here right now. Praying for moisture so we don’t have to worry about […]

2021- New Year, New Word My Word For The Year

I have a new word for 2021. New Year, New Word. I’ve written before that I kept the same word for many years (I guess really a phrase), and it was Still Waters. I wrote about it a little bit HERE. The events of 2020 helped cinch what my word should be. I was ranting […]
