I recently read two great trilogies. Reading Trilogies has its advantages! If you like the first book, you know you will love the other two. You learn the characters in the first book, and you can lazily read two more books without having to learn new characters. That aspect is my favorite- I guess I’m a lazy reader? Anyone else?
Trilogy #1
This First series of three is by Elin Hildebrand. I love her books, and most of them take place in Nantucket. However, Hildbrand writes many of her novels on the island of St. John.
Because she loves St. John so much, she decided to have her latest novels take place there. In true Hildebrand fashion, you feel like you are walking the streets of the island. A friend even told me that while she read these books, she googled the restaurants, and they are all real!!
1st Book in the series

2nd Book

3rd Book

Elin Hildebrand Books
As with all Elin Hildebrand books, someone is having an affair, and someone dies. In this trilogy, we find Irene Steele who has to travel to St. John after she learns of her husbands tragic death. She begins to unravel the mystery of his other life on the island.
Trust me- these are good, easy reading books.
Trilogy #2
1st Book

2nd Book

3rd Book

Jojo Moyes Trilogy
In this set of three books, Louisa Clark, is an ordinary girl living an ordinary life until her life is turned upside down when she accepts a job as caregiver to a wealthy quadriplegic, Will Traynor.
In the subsequent novels, Louisa finds herself setting out to live the live that Will inspired her to live. Her journey is not without trials as she moves from London to New York City to find journey.
With very believable characters and excellent writing, Moyes draws in her readers and doesn’t let them go until the final page of the third book.
I LOVED these books!!
Reading Trilogies has its advantages
If you are lucky, your favorite will be made into a movie.

To read another post about a good book made into a movie, read my review of Where’d You Go Bernadette?
Thank you so much for the recommendations! I will check these out
Great!! Please let me know what you think!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
I love trilogies. I haven’t read these yet so definitely put on my list. I hadn’t realized these were set in St John. I cannot think of a better January escape to paradise than three books of pages in St John , unless it would be an actually flight and resort reservation.
Yes- Let me know what you think after you read them!!
