Here is a list of things piquing my interest on this Peak of the Week! It’s not Hump Day, it’s Wednesday! It’s all downhill from here!

Things Piquing My Interest!

Snow!

We got a beautiful snow!! I hate to admit it, but I was really dreading this first cold spell! I know that one the cold weather hits, we won’t see warm days until May (and we still get snow in May at times). I’ve been reveling in our beautiful days.

COVID-19 Holiday Risk Calculator

I think this is really just meant to make people think about what activites they should do over the holidays. Because of where I live and my husband’s job, we won’t be able to travel to see family this year. My kids won’t be able to come because they would have to quarantine for 14 days if they did. We are hoping to see each other after the first of the year.

I’m not a person who HAS to see my family on the exact holiday so I’m OK. My kids both have other families that love them on their significant other’s side. I’m very thankful for that!!

Just please remember to wear masks! No matter what anyone says- MASKS DO Work! I believe in scientists and doctors!!

See the coyote in the middle of the shot. He was beautiful with the fluffiest tail!

Operation Autumn Hope

How can 45 missing children be recovered in Ohio and it not be plastered all over the news? We are so busy bickering about politics and our rights that we’ve forgotten our most valued treasures- our children!!

7 Things I learned When I Stopped Drinking Alcohol

This article is very timely with the holidays approaching. I’m so happy that I’ve never had an issue with alcohol, but many people that I love have drinking problems. I hope this helps someone!!

Chrissy Teigen- Loss of Jack

I’ve linked to her Instagram account because you have to create a Medium account to read what she wrote. So very sad to lose a child, but I know her words can help a lot of young women out there.

What I’m Reading

I finally finished my Jojo Moyes trilogy. I’m waiting for the 3rd book in the Elin Hildebrand trilogy to become available at my library. So in the meantime, I’m reading 28 Summers. Fun backdrop and a fun read!!

What I’m Watching

I’ve been seeing the ads for this, and a friend told me I needed to watch it. It was really good. So nice to watch a good fairly clean movie again!!

Area Of Home I’m Working On

I finished changing out my clothes in my closet. If you remember, I wrote a post Small Closet Organization a few months ago. I put all of my out of season clothes in tubs at the top of my closet. This means that twice a year, I have to handle each piece of clothing in my wardrobe. I have to make a decision as to whether or not I want to hang it up in my closet.

I’m happy to report that this system worked!! I decided to donate several items. My closet is even more empty than it was… I’m really happy about that!! I don’t need so many clothes!

Popular This Week

I was a little surprised at what post was my most popular post of the week this week because it’s a terrible picture. But, I guess sentiment always wins out! I think my thoughts on the picture spoke to many as much as they speak to me. You can read it all HERE.

Christian Witness

I hope I never forget this church, this sign, the feeling it gave me!!

Things Piquing My Interest #89. Wow- 89 posts of sharing things that are of interest to me seem impossible, but I’ve been doing this for quite some time.
