Here is a list of things piquing my interest on this Peak of the Week! It’s not Hump Day, it’s Wednesday! It’s all downhill from here!
I went on a hike that I’ve been wanting to go on for some time. Saturday ended up being the perfect day to do it. It was spectacular!! Here are some pictures. Fall in New Mexico is perfection!
Things Piquing My Interest
Inspiring Simplicity. Weekend Reads– I share ideas from Becoming Minimalist often. This was shared on their Facebook account. It’s full of links about adding simplicity to your life.
Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bacon, Pecans, and Cranberries– Several friends shared this on Facebook last week. It looks amazing. All of my favorite things in one dish!

I thought of my daughter when I saw SJP in Andy Cohens stories on Instagram. She is showing her mask chain. My daughter sent a link a few weeks ago and said she really liked these and I should share them on my blog. I’ll share a link again now. I trust my daughter and SJP for fashion advice!!
You can shop for mask chains HERE. It sure makes it easier to keep up with a mask!
What I’m Reading

Hey, I’m a slow reader! I’m still reading this book and loving every word. It can be purchased HERE.
Digital Magazines– I was at a huge loss when my magazine app was sold to Apple. I still have an ipad, but rarely use it. I love my Kindle Fire. I stopped reading magazines for a while. Now I’ve figured out how to buy the digital copy of the magazine to read on my Kindle. Each month the new one magically appears. The best thing about reading them digitally is that I take screen shots of anything I want to remember- like a recipe. The best, best thing is that I don’t have magazines filling up landfills after I read them!!
Digital Magazines can be found HERE.
A few of my favorites

What I’m Watching-

Hurray! The Voice started this week. We love watching it. It’s good and CLEAN!

We watched the movie of Me Before You! It was really good. Even Dr. T liked it. Now I just hope they make movies out of the other two books.
Area I’m concentrating on in my house: My closet. I’m starting to think about changing out my summer clothes for my winter clothes. Remember, I redid my closet a few months ago. I boxed up all out of season clothes and shoes so that twice a year I have to go through each item and decide if I want to keep it. We will see if it keeps me organized. You can read all about it HERE- Small Closet Organization.
I guess that’s all for this week. Our weather is going to get much colder next week with a big chance of snow! I love the first snow, but I will miss these beautiful fall days.

Have a great rest of your week. Thanks for stopping by!!
