It’s Wednesday! The Peak of the Week. Here are some things piquing my interest on this windy Wednesday day!! What’s piquing yours?
No pictures today. My daughter, her fiancé, and her little dog are here with us. I didn’t take the time to find pictures for this post!
Harper is such a sweet, cute dog. You better believe I’ll be sharing a lot of pictures of her on the blog and on social media!!
6 Really Fun and Unique International Girls Getaways– These are pretty extravagant girls getaways, but I wanted to keep the link for a couple of these hotels. I can’t imagine going on a long trip without my husband, but I guess I might. The hotel in Paris looks dreamy!!
Habitually Chic- April in New York- This is one of my favorite accounts to follow. I follow her blog, and I follow her on IG. Her pictures of NYC are wonderful!
Read these books when you need a good cry– I don’t like to cry. I especially don’t want a book to make me cry, but this title intrigued me so I wanted to share her blog post. I’ve only read one of them.
No, you’re not entitled to your opinion– I’d love to know your thoughts on this one. I agree with it.
Things I’m Loving
Salad Bowl– This is the perfect salad bowl. Thank you to those who have purchased it off of my affiliate link. I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am.
Water Bottle– I use this water bottle every day. I never drink enough water. This bottle at least gives me a goal, and also gives me some motivation!!
What I’m Watching
Yellowstone– Not my most favorite show, but we’ve heard so much about it, we’ve been watching.
Hemingway– We are still watching these episodes. I highly recommend even if you aren’t a huge fan of his writing. He lived a strange life. It’s so interesting. I never studied Hemingway in high school or college so I’ve been very surprised by what the documentary has revealed.
What I’m Reading-
The Giver of Stars- I love this book. I’m hoping to finish tonight, and yet I would never want to finish it. I’ll be in limbo for a few days after ending this book. I have a weird habit where I have a hard time starting a new book after I’ve loved and finished a book. It’s like I have to cleanse my palate for a few days. Does anyone else have a hard time starting a new book after you finish one that you LOVE?
No More Holding Back- This is my book I’m reading with my friend for our long distance book study. We always keep a book going between us. We talk once a week and discuss what we’ve read. It’s one of my favorite things. Unfortunately, this book is not one of my favorite things. I think it is written for younger women. I’m hoping that gives me some inspiration for ways I can help my daughter with life’s ups and downs. Also, we are only just beginning this book so I still have hope it will get better for me.
Area of Concentration- My windows. I’m having a young man come and professionally clean all our windows when our landscaping is complete. I am cleaning the blinds and inside of the windows. It’s amazing how dirty blinds and windows get.
