Things Piquing My Interest On This Peak Of The Week

April 7, 2021 by Sharon

It’s Wednesday! The Peak of the Week. Here are some things piquing my interest on this beautiful day!! What’s piquing yours?

Shopping my husband’s closet is one thing piquing my interest this week. No, the man never gets rid of anything. I found this cute sweatshirt and declared it mine. He thinks he last wore it when he was in high school!! Do you ever shop your husband’s closet? Does you husband still have clothes/ items from high school? I’d love to know!

The Impact of Death on Life– I thought this was a very relevant article on how our lives are changed after the death of someone we love.

V-Safe—V-safe is a smartphone-based tool that checks in on you after your COVID-19 vaccination. Your participation helps keep COVID-19 vaccines safe — for you and for everyone.

I got a text every afternoon of the first week after I signed up. I just had to fill out a questionnaire on how I was feeling. At the end, it told me that someone from the CDC might call me to check on me so I’m assuming if people are having a hard time, they get a call.

I’m completely vaccinated!!! Yea for me!! Next Monday will be two weeks so my life is about to really open up. I’m so grateful to all of the scientists and doctors who have worked for years on the new technology that became this vaccine!! Life changing for all of us!!!

This has pretty much been my uniform for the past several months. Black leggings, T-shirt- comfy shoes

I’m going to try these leggings. 3 pack, high wasted, tummy control, not see through. What more does a girl want. I’ll let you know what I think.

I also love these shoes by Taos Shoe Company. They are cute and comfortable. I wear them a lot!!

Teenage HEB cashier befriended 89-year-old customer who died of Covid-19– I love this story so much. This is from my little town in South Texas that I left when I remarried. There are such good people in this world.

Single Use Plastic– We are trying to stop using any single use plastics in our house! I found these great biodegradable sandwich bags for Dr. T’s lunch. No more plastic sandwich bags for us!!

Things Piquing My Interest #89

Things Piquing My Interest #89. Wow- 89 posts of sharing things that are of interest to me seem impossible, but I’ve been doing this for quite some time. 2023 Has One Goal

2023 has one goal. Be Healthier. That’s it. All I want for 2023 is to be healthier version of myself at the end of the year than I am at the beginning. Although it’s an easy phrase, it’s pack with so much meaning for me. Of course, I want to be healthier physically, but I’m […]
