It’s Wednesday! The Peak of the Week. Here are some things piquing my interest on this beautiful day!! What’s piquing yours?
I found pictures from a trip to Texas a couple of years ago. I’m sharing them in the post today. Who’s ready for spring? I sure am!!

First things first. I had an issue with my email/ subscription list so if you’ve signed up for emails before and aren’t receiving them, please sign up again. You should receive this post in email if you have. I hope it’s working now.
I’ve had several new people sign up to my subscription. If that’s you, thank you so much for being here!!
And now, on with the show. Here’s what’s piquing my interest this week!
NYC woman discovers empty apartment behind bathroom mirror
This isn’t quite a eerie as it sounds, but to have an entire apartment behind yours that no one knows is there, is a bit odd.
HOW TO DECOUPAGE EASTER EGGS
These eggs are so cute. I thought about trying it with pages from a children’s book. Mostly words about spring and Easter would look really cute.

A Guide to Let Go of Your Perfectly Good Things
My husband and I joined 2 “full to the brim” houses when we got married almost six years ago. We have spent a lot of time “going through” and getting rid of items in both houses. I don’t want to have a lot of stuff. I want to have memories. Sometimes memories come with the stuff, and that makes it so hard to rehome any item.
Bundt Cake Candle
I recently bought this candle to put in a cake stand amongst an Easter tablescape. I think it is going to be really cute! I’ll share pictures when it comes in.
What I’m Reading- I finished this one in the middle of the night last night. This book is so much more than the Harvey Weinstein case. It’s scary to know what lengths powerful, wealthy men will go to in order to protect themselves. It has also been interesting to read while watching the allegations against Gov. Cuomo are going on.

What I’m listening to- Mindful In Minutes podcast. You can find this wherever you listen to podcasts. My daughter sent this to me yesterday morning. I did a virtual yoga class that afternoon. She ended the class and signed off during savasana so we could stay in meditation as long as we wanted. I used this and loved it.
I’m also listening to this song a lot. If The World Was Ending It’s so pretty, and there is such a story behind it. It doesn’t have to be a relationship– to me it’s any relationship that has been broken. Who would you spend your last night with? Do you like this song?
What I’m watching– Outlander on Netflix. It is another show with sex scenes that add nothing to the story. I sure wish shows would stop doing it. My mother would love this story so much!

I LOVE This next one. We have one more episode of Modern Love to watch. These shows are based on a column in the New York Times so each are based on true stories about relationships. I have truly loved each one!!
What area of my house I’m concentrating on- I’m planning outdoors. We have our landscapers (hopefully) starting soon on our backyard. I’m researching and buying what furniture and plants I want back there.
