It’s Wednesday! The Peak of the Week. Here are some things piquing my interest on this cold, snowy day!! What’s piquing yours?

If you follow me on Facebook or IG, you probably saw my post about thinking of Texas. My son sent me this picture of our house in Texas. I’ve never seen it covered in a blanket of snow. Unfortunately, the thrill of waking up to snow turned into a bit of a nightmare for most people in Texas with so many losing electricity and water. As I type this, my sister is still without water.

Things Piquing My Interest!!

You never know what world renowned scientist you might be picking apples with in the produce section of the local grocery store!! Most don’t want the limelight, and you would never know the work they do for our country! This is exciting news about Mars though!!
A friend here told me that she has a neighbor whose license plate says, “My other vehicle is on Mars.” I guess he is part of this mission!!
Delectable South Texas Slow-Cooked Pinto Beans– Nothing better on a cold or hot day!! The last time I cooked beans at this high altitude that I now live at (7300 ft), they didn’t turn out too well. I’ll have to try again!
10 Movies and TV Shows that Capture the Essence of Europe– I want to see all of these!!
What I’ve been reading lately: the new and the notable– I share a lot from Modern Mrs Darcy. How does she read so many books. I’m a slow reader so I guess she’s a speed reader. Here is her latest suggestions and reveiws!
