Things Piquing My Interest #90

February 15, 2023 by Sharon

Things Piquing My Interest #90- how can it be possible? Life has been hectic lately, but I love it when something happens that slows me down and makes me stand and stare in wonder! That is exactly what happened last week when is saw this two bucks sparing with each other right outside my house!

Seeing those buck was one of the most exciting things that happened for me this week, but of course there are many other thing piquing my interest on this Peak of the Week/ Peak of the Month!

Making Art Is Good For Your Health- Here’s How to Start A Habit – I love this article so much. I love to write, but even with the encouragement of my many writing groups, I still rarely refer to myself as a writer. Who don’t I feel worthy of the title? We all need creativity in our lives. This article helps show what creativity and art can look like in your life. My mother is a great example of this. Her art is decorating! We sold her beautiful home a few months ago so she has her small townhome now, but it looks like a professional decorator decorated it. I love that she still has an outlet for her passion of decorating. That’s her art!

50 Best Shows To Watch On Netflix This February– We are always looking for our next favorite show. Here are some suggestions!

13 Best All-Inclusive Resorts In The USA– We don’t usually do all-inclusive resorts, but I didn’t want to lose this list just in case!

Four Habits Of Happy People– I agree with all four of these!

What We Are Watching

We finished Impeachment on Hulu. There were so many things that I didn’t realize about the Clinton/ Lewinsky scandal. It’s all just plain gross.

I can’t believe that Dr. T will watch this with me, but each episode is only 30 minutes long so it’s not too bad. We both love seeing all the scenes in Paris!

What I’m Reading

Monica’s Story– I don’t know what to say except- I couldn’t look away. I was so intrigued by this story of Clinton and Monica. I will say I was a bit sympathetic to her after the mini series, but after reading about 1/2 of the book, I just think she has no morals!

Morningside Heights– This is a great story that takes place in Morningside Heights in NYC. I love the references to places, and I love the story!!

This Is Your Brain On Food– This is the long distance book study pick with my friend in Texas. Very informative!

What I’m Listening To

Yuval Levin on What Christians Can Learn from Religious Minorities– He said so many interesting things in the Russell Moore podcast, I think I need to listen to it again!

Area Of Concentration

I cleaned out my refrigerators and organized them. I’ve also organized my medicine cabinet. You can shop my Amazon storefront to see everything I used to organize my newest project!

On a side note- Along with the beautiful deer we have in our neighborhood, we also have a mountain lion. I heard to day that it killed a neighbor’s dog. We are all being warned to keep an eye on our children and pets!!

My beautiful sunny sky has turned cloudy and it’s starting to snow as I write this! I hope you have a great ending to February! I’ll see you in March!
