What are you finding interesting these days? You better believe I have a lot on my mind. I may have been away from here for a couple of months, but I’m never far away from an opinion! Sooo… I’m back with so much to share. Here is what is piquing my interest this month of July!!
I love taking pictures of the flowers and vegetables at different stages during the summer. I’ll be sharing those photos in this post!
What’s piquing your interest today? Here are a few things piquing mine!

Traveling This Summer? Here are book picks for each state– We have no trips planned for out of the country! I’m ready for a good road trip. What states are you traveling to- here is a book list for each state.
This 10 second balance trick can predict how long you will live-this is interesting! Not that I think this quick test can tell you how much longer you are going to live, but I do believe it’s the little things that are big tell- tale signs of our overall health.
Crazy Biscuits– Leslie is part of my blogging group. I’m always looking for a good biscuit recipe. I’m trying this one soon!!

Amazon Prime– Today is the last day of Amazon Prime shopping. You can use my link to take you out to the best deals! Let me know what you buy!!
Other Things Piquing My Interest

What I’m Watching
Traveling Robert– I’m not sure what our obsession is with Traveling Robert, but we watched his only show on Amazon Prime and were so hooked we now watch him on his Youtube Channel. I’m even planning a trip for next month using his suggestions. His show is a great way to see our beautiful country- especially our national parks.
Alone– Another Obsession with us, but it’s good and clean!!
We also spend a lot of time watching our hummingbirds. How can something so small bring me so much joy. The Rufous appeared this week. You must watch this video about them. If you aren’t fortunate to have them appear at your house, you are missing out!!!
What I’m Reading

I loved this book so much! It’s on sale right now with Prime Days. You won’t be disappointed! BUY IT HERE

American Prometheus– Hey- what can I say. I live in Los Alamos. We go to lectures in the evenings about science and Oppenheimer for fun!! The movie that was recently filmed in my little town was based on this book. If you love Manhattan Project history, you must read this book! I also compare what has happened to Dr. Fauci with what happened to Oppenheimer- interesting to compare!! I’m waiting for the ebook to be available again at my library. I’m next in line so I can finish it. It’s a popular book here!

The First Family Detail– Written right after the Obama administration. It’s a close up look at the Secret Service. Wasn’t very flattering about the organization. Did you know that the SS was started to work with counterfeit money in our country, and they still do a lot of work in that area!!

Living Untethered– If you’ve followed me for long, you know that I keep a long distance book study going with a friend in Texas. This is our most recent book. It is the sequel to The Untethered Soul which was a life changing book. It isn’t a Christian book- I want to make that clear. It’s more like a therapy session!! It’s been extremely helpful to me in helping me navigate life. I wish I’d read it years ago.
Area I’m Concentrating On–
Honestly, the area that I’m concentrating on the most is my mind. I’m really working on my mental state. A huge part of that is my spiritual life!! I’m getting back to basics with a morning spiritual practice- Quiet Time for some of you!! It’s making a big difference!!
I’m also concentrating on OUTSIDE. I love being out in nature. Our back yard is small, but it is truly an oasis for me!! I’m spending as much time outside as I can because I know this winter is going to be cold and long!!!
