
Self-Reflection from this month of May is important if we want to finish out the 2nd half of the year in a strong manner. This month I chose to use a podcast that I regularly listen to to help me with my self-reflection for the month of May.
The Next Right Thing by Emily P. Freeman is one of my favorite podcasts. Emily’s voice is soothing and reassuring, and she helps listeners with the life struggle of answering the question, “What do I do next?”
Her Podcast Three Questions and Three Books made a significant impact on me a few weeks ago. I knew I wanted to use it as my self-reflection piece for this month.
What Is The Purpose Of Self-Reflection?
According to the Better Up Blog, self reflection is, “power to help identify what’s working well in your life and develop insight into what isn’t — and why.” I know I sure need to take the time to see what is working and what isn’t working in my life.
I love that Self Reflection helps me re-evaluate how I’m spending my time. How am I going to change how I’m living. What isn’t fitting into my life at this time that I need to get rid of?

I could be best friends with Emily P Freeman! When she describes having three books that she is always reading, I so related to it. Those are the three types of books that I always have going, AND I read them at the exact same times as her- except, I also read fiction/memoir in the middle of the night.
