Today I’m sharing a Roundup of my favorite Roundups. Roundup posts are posts where bloggers share things that they have found around the web. My Peak of the Week posts are an example of a Roundup.
These Roundup posts are the ones that I read with my cup of coffee. They can take me down a rabbit hole of several different topics to be curious about.
I started doing Peak of the Week- Things Piquing My Interest posts many years ago. I left my job as junior high librarian where I shared links to websites that supported our different departments’ curriculum. I heard from so many teachers that my sharing of online resources was one of the most effective things I did in supporting them in the classroom. I missed finding those great resources and sharing them.
I also missed my friends. Although I talked to friends on the phone, I missed the casual conversations where we shared something we had read or discovered. Some of my favorite blogs that I followed at the time were sharing favorite links so I decided to do the same. It has turned out to be one of my favorite things, and I like hearing from those of you who like what I share on any given Wednesday.
All of the above brings me to this— Here are some of my favorite Blog Roundups!!
I have followed Karianne Wood for years. She leads a blogging mastermind group that I’m part of. Her Thistlekeeping Roundup post can be found every Saturday. Pour your cup of coffee and get ready for some great links every Saturday morning.
Modern Mrs. Darcy is a blog all about reading. She’s about to come out with her Summer Reading Guide so if you don’t follow her, I suggest you do! Her blog Roundup post is called Links I love and can be found every Friday.
Gabby is redoing a home in Normandy, France. When I first started following her, they were living in France, and I loved reading about their experience there. After moving back to the states for a few years, they are back in France. Her roundup post, A Few Things, can be found on Fridays.
The Weekend Reading roundup isn’t found every week, but it’s worth it when she does share things she’s found. Making It In The Mountains shares decorating inspiration, recipes and other fun things.
Of course, my favorite is the Peak of the Week! I like to share things piquing my interest for the week. If you ever find something you think I’ll like, please send it my way, and I’ll share it with others.
So there you have it. A list of some of the blogs I read and my favorite Roundup posts that they share with others.
