As you well know, It’s Wednesday- the peak of the week! I always love sharing the things piquing my interest from around the web. Here you go…
We have quite a few wild fires around us right now. Nothing like what California is experiencing, but still there is a haze that has settled over our mountains. Most of the fires around are out or mostly contained. I sure hope it stays that way. How is the weather where you are? I hope you aren’t in line of one of the hurricanes.
I love fresh flowers. I always try to bring some home from a trip to Trader Joes. I’m not good at arranging, however! This post simplifies flower arranging enough that I think I might be able to do it. I’ll let you know.
School is in full swing for a good part of the country. Many of you have started back virtually. I feel for you mamas out there that are having to help multiple kids with assignments online! This post comes from a woman in my blogging class. I love that she also shares free printables for you to use!!
Stefani and I live in the same town. If you don’t follow her, you should check out her Instagram account or follow her blog. She and her husband foster children as well, and she shares their experience on her blog. Her kids are in full distant learning mode- these are some great tips!!
I’m always looking ahead to my next great read! I have loved every book that I’ve read from Reese’s list. This post is updated with the latest books on her list with a little caption about each one. It’s easy to follow with links to each book.
I was introduced to this account in my blogging class. For those of you who live in S. Texas and have access to HEB (the greatest grocery store in the world), be sure to follow this account. They sell their products in HEBs and their posts show how to use their products. I can’t wait to try some of their spicy goodness!!
Area I’m concentrating on at home: Back yard. We are in the process of getting bid for landscaping our backyard. So far, bids have been astronomical!! Now we have to decide what we want to do! I’m ready or great seating/ entertainment areas!
What I’m listening to: I’ve been walking by myself lately. I started listening to podcasts instead of music. My favorite podcast is For The Love by Jen Hatmaker. I
What I’m reading– I’ve just started a new book study with my friend from Texas. We chose, Keep It Shut for our newest read. If you follow me on social media, you know this is a struggle for me!
I also just started a new book by Mary Kay Andrews, Sunset Beach. I read Hello Summer a few weeks ago and really liked it so I thought I would try another one by her. Have you read her before? If so, what do you think?
A couple of popular posts from this time last year.
As always, thanks for stopping by! It means so much to me!
