International Widows Day

June 23, 2014 by Sharon

I did a post earlier this year when I turned 50.  That is how old R was when he passed away.  I figured out how many days R lived into his 51st year.  I then figured those same number of days passed my birthday so I was going to look at it that after that […]

Being 50

January 23, 2014 by Sharon

I turned 50 yesterday.  I am now the same age the R was when he died.  It was a strange feeling.  I figured out the date that would be the same number of days that R lived into his 50th year.  R lived 119 days into his 51st year.  So for me 119 days after […]

How Far Do I Go Into the Abyss?

December 4, 2013 by Sharon

Tomorrow would have  been R’s 52 birthday.  I don’t even really remember feeling anything last year.  My friends and sister took me out to dinner and we talked about him, but I was still in such a state of numbness that I don’t remember feeling anything.  I have read in so many blogs where women’s […]

Godwinks

November 11, 2013 by Sharon

I highly recommend reading the book, When GOD Winks: How the Power of Coincidence Guides Your Life.  I friend gave it to me when I started telling my friends all the weird “coincidences” that were happening after R passed away.  I will write about them as I remember them, but I was reminded of one […]

10 Items I’m Glad I Had On hand When I Got COVID

I’m so glad I had these 10 items on hand when I came down with COVID. This post contains some affiliate links to these products. I make a small amount off of your qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. Until last week, I had managed to escape getting sick from COVID. What I’m […]

Things Piquing My Interest #89

Things Piquing My Interest #89. Wow- 89 posts of sharing things that are of interest to me seem impossible, but I’ve been doing this for quite some time. Many others are doing it now because we learned about these “Round Up” posts in my blogging mastermind group. I started doing it because some of my […]

2023 Has One Goal

2023 has one goal. Be Healthier. That’s it. All I want for 2023 is to be healthier version of myself at the end of the year than I am at the beginning. Although it’s an easy phrase, it’s pack with so much meaning for me. Of course, I want to be healthier physically, but I’m […]

Books I Read In 2022

Wow- the number of books I read in 2022 was more than I realized. Several blogs that I follow have been listing what they read in 2022 so I thought I would do the same. I have this book by my favorite book blogger Modern Mrs. Darcy, but I can’t remember to always fill it […]
