Losing Hemingway

September 1, 2015 by Sharon

We lost our family cat over the weekend.  Hemingway wasn’t just any cat– He was a special cat to me because every time I looked at him, I thought of R.      I was having an especially rough day about a month after R passed away.  I was working with other librarians […]

2nd Trail Run

August 27, 2015 by Sharon

I met up with the group of women who do trail running in the area.  They are so far out of my league that I probably should just stay home, but I went back for a second run with them.  I pretty much run by myself.  The first night we ran, I met a young […]

February Monthly Goals Check-In

It can’t possibly be time for our February monthly goals check-in! I’m truly shocked at how quickly February went by. It just seems like I’m strapped to a rocket flying through the year, and I don’t know how to slow it down. I think that it why for me it’s so important to do regular […]

Yes! You read that correctly. Earlier this year, I became a Gandy. At least, that’s what I hope that my sweet little granddaughter and every grandchild after will call me! I’ve had several months to think of what I wanted to be called, but honestly, I’ve been thinking of it a lot longer than that. […]
