My Guilty Pleasure- The Real Housewives!!

January 26, 2016 by Sharon

I have several things that are guilty pleasures in my life.  Of course one would have to be food!!!  Anyone can tell by looking at me that I like to eat.  I am not thin, not really overweight, but I have some extra weight on me.  After just celebrating my 52 birthday, I am coming to be OK with a few extra pounds.  I’m getting the attitude that life is just too short to obsess over 5 pounds.  Of course I would love to lose five pounds at any given moment, but I don’t want to dwell on it.

My other guilty pleasure that I love is watching Real Housewives… I watch, OC, Beverly Hills, and New York.  I can’t wait for the Dallas one to start.  Since I am not going to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays any more, I find that I turn the TV to Bravo on Tuesday afternoons and start watching past episodes. I’m then ready for the big event that evening!!

Over Thanksgiving at my parents’ house when Fox News had been on ad nauseum,  I had a conversation with my mom about how having that channel on 24/7 isn’t good for her or my dad.  I think it gets depressing after a while.  She turned on me and let me know how she feels about me and my sister watching the depravity of The Real Housewives…

I admit, it did make me think for a minute.  A New York minute that is, and then I was back to enjoying the spectacle of RH.  I always wonder if what happens is real.  So many people say it is all stages, but I just don’t see how they could come up with that much.

Oh well,  I guess the point is that I’m entertained by it and will continue to watch.  I think it is either a love/ hate kind of thing.  So where do you stand.  Do you love or hate the Real Housewives??

Two Important Questions To Ask Yourself
