Hello- Just For My Blog Followers

September 27, 2022 by Sharon

Hello! You are getting a blog post from me that is not going to be sent out on any social media platforms! This is just a post to say Hello to those of you who follow my blog the old fashion way.

The weather is changing in my beautiful New Mexico mountains. I’m sharing some of those pictures in this post. Give it another week, and we will be in full on fall mode. It’s my favorite time of year here!

I want you to know how much I appreciate you being here. I looked at data from my blog the other day, and realized that maybe I’ve been neglecting this space! That realization made me sad because this blog is my Best Friend which means you are my best friend in this new life here in New Mexico.

My plan for this space is to get back to the basics of why I started it- How do we choose life when our lives change? Women my age find that the kids are gone, the marriage has ended, or as in my case, the husband has passed away. How do we move forward?

The fact is that for many of us, we have to reinvent ourselves. Reinvention is scary, but it is also amazingly exciting. I hope you are here for some inspiration on how I’ve (and others) have traveled this journey of reinventing our lives.

I’d love to hear from you. Is there a topic you are pondering? Is there a topic I’ve covered that you want to read more about? I’m here for all of it!!

Big News!

I plan to post each Wednesday. I’ve cut back on my posting because… drum roll… I’m writing a book!

Only my closest friends and family know this because, well, imposter syndrome is alive and well- living in my life! I just don’t feel adequate in the publishing world, but I’m trying to overcome this because I do feel led by God to write a Guided Prayer Journal. It’s been no easy task, but I’ve set some goals and reorganized!

So– This post is just to let you know that I’m so glad you are here! I’m extremely grateful that you have stuck it our with me or that you’ve decided to give this space a try!!

Whether you’ve been here for years, or you are new to this blog, I’m thankful for you, and I want to give generously to you.

My email is sharon@nowchooselife.net . Please don’t hesitate to reach out!!

She turned to the things she loved to help in her grief: faith, family, and friends. Her love of words and writing became the cathartic venue by which she began to process her loss. Things Piquing My Interest #89

Things Piquing My Interest #89. Wow- 89 posts of sharing things that are of interest to me seem impossible, but I’ve been doing this for quite some time. Many others are doing it now because we learned about these “Round Up” posts in my blogging mastermind group. I started doing it because some of my […]

2023 Has One Goal

2023 has one goal. Be Healthier. That’s it. All I want for 2023 is to be healthier version of myself at the end of the year than I am at the beginning. Although it’s an easy phrase, it’s pack with so much meaning for me. Of course, I want to be healthier physically, but I’m […]

Books I Read In 2022

Wow- the number of books I read in 2022 was more than I realized. Several blogs that I follow have been listing what they read in 2022 so I thought I would do the same. I have this book by my favorite book blogger Modern Mrs. Darcy, but I can’t remember to always fill it […]
